St. Christopher’s is committed to providing the most comfortable, safe, structured and welcoming environment for all residents in an uplifting home away from home. Through our Cottage Renovation Initiative, we are creating a positive environment that is vital to help our youth reach their full potential in becoming well-rounded, happy and productive members of society…and future leaders, as well.
The Human-Animal Bond
St. Christopher’s harnesses the power of the human-animal bond through it Animal-Assisted Interventions program at all three campuses, including Jennie’s Farm at our Jennie Clarkson Campus. This wonderful interaction between our youth and animals ranging from dogs and horses, to donkeys, goats and chicken helps bring out their caring and nurturing side, teaches them responsibility, and demonstrates the power of unconditional love.
